Crafted Gardens and Landscaping is looking for an experienced, all-round Lead Landscaper to run our job sites independently. This is a hands-on role for someone who can turn up to a site, read the plan, and deliver — from hardscape construction through to softscape finishing — without needing to be micromanaged. If you have experience in paving - wet lay and dry lay, limestone block installs, carpentry, reticulation, lawns, gardens, operating machinery and more, this role is for you.

About the role

You'll be trusted to lead work sites from start to finish: setting out the job, coordinating crew on site, keeping quality and safety on track, and liaising with stakeholders where needed. This is a hands-on role for someone who can turn up to a site, read the plan, and deliver — from hardscape construction through to softscape finishing — without needing to be micromanaged.

Key responsibilities

- Running landscaping job sites independently, from setup to handover
- Hardscape work: paving, retaining walls, Corten steel, decking, and other structural elements
- Softscape work: turf, garden bed preparation, planting, mulching, and general horticultural finishing




- Reading and working from site plans and job specifications
- Keeping sites safe, tidy, and running to schedule
- Mentoring and directing less experienced team members on site as required
- Communicating professionally with clients on site

About you

- Solid, proven experience across both hardscape and softscape landscaping
- Experience in paving - wet lay and dry lay, limestone block installs (from 500mm up to 1m blocks), carpentry, reticulation, lawns, gardens, operating machinery
- Ability to run a job site independently with minimal supervision
- Current driver's license and own reliable transport
- White Card (construction induction)
- Strong attention to detail and pride in the finished product
- A reliable, team-first attitude
