About the Role
As a Leading Hand, you’ll work closely with our Site Management and Project Teams to deliver outstanding results across our diverse range of projects. This hands-on role involves supervising works on-site, coordinating trades, and ensuring quality and safety standards are consistently met. You’ll be a vital support on the ground—helping shape premium spaces from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Support site managers in achieving construction program milestones and quality outcomes.
- Execute physical works on site and supervise subcontractors as needed.
- Liaise with supervisors to provide direction to workers, promoting efficiency and productivity.
- Assist with coordinating labour, equipment, and materials to meet daily goals.
- Perform safety assessments and ensure OHS compliance across worksites.
- Foster professional relationships with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Contribute to ongoing learning and development within the team.
What We’re Looking For
- A qualified carpenter or trade equivalent, or someone with a relevant tertiary qualification.
- Minimum 1 year of on-site carpentry experience in fit-out, refurb, or construction projects.
- Familiarity with services and reading plans.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; Microsoft Project experience a plus.
- Current First Aid & CPR Certification.
- A team player who thrives in fast-paced, multicultural environments.
- Strong understanding of work health and safety standards and practices.
