Reporting to the General Counsel & EGM Corporate Affairs, this is a rare opportunity to take on a broad and commercially focused legal role where you'll work closely with senior leaders across the business, providing trusted advice on legal, governance, compliance and risk matters.

About the role

As Legal Counsel, you will:

- Provide pragmatic and commercially focused legal advice across the business
- Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements
- Support governance, compliance and risk management initiatives
- Manage legal risks and assist with dispute resolution matters
- Monitor legislative and regulatory changes and provide guidance to stakeholders
- Partner with leaders across operations, commercial, finance and corporate functions
- Manage relationships with external legal advisers when required

About You To be successful, you will have:

- A Bachelor of Laws and current Australian practising certificate




- Proven experience in-house and/or private practice
- Robust contract drafting, negotiation and advisory skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- A commercial mindset with the ability to deliver practical solutions
- Experience working within a regulated industry will be highly regarded
