Sunday Line Cook/Meal Prep – Gregory Hills

Approx. 4–6 hours every Sunday | Hourly rate based on experience | Initial 6-week trial

We’re looking for a reliable, organised person to help run a structured Sunday household routine for our family of four in Gregory Hills.

This is not primarily a cleaning or babysitting role. The main focus is weekly meal preparation using clear, well-documented recipes and systems, followed by general household tasks as time allows.

Our meal preparation is already highly systemised. Recipes, quantities, timings and processes are documented in detail, so you won’t be expected to invent menus or figure everything out yourself. Full training will be provided.

A typical Sunday will involve:

- Preparing and portioning meals according to provided recipes and instructions
- Weighing ingredients accurately and following quantities closely
- Managing several cooking and preparation tasks efficiently at the same time
- Cleaning the kitchen and work areas as you go
- Helping with other straightforward household jobs depending on what is required that week

We are particularly interested in someone who is comfortable working within clear systems and routines, works efficiently without needing constant supervision, and takes pride in leaving a job completely finished. Experience in fast food, commercial kitchens, catering, food production, hospitality or another process-driven workplace will be highly regarded. If you’re used to following procedures,



managing several tasks at once, working to timeframes and cleaning as you go, those skills should transfer very well to this role.

You don’t need to be an experienced cook. Reliability, attention to detail and willingness to follow the system are more important.

The position will initially run as a 6-week trial to make sure the arrangement works well for everyone. For the right person, there may later be an opportunity for additional midweek hours and greater responsibility within the household. Pay: Hourly rate based on experience and suitability.
