Floor Manager – Li'l Darlin

We're looking for a Floor Manager whose real focus is the guest. You'll lead a strong floor team, but the job starts and ends with making sure every guest — from the first booking enquiry to the last goodbye — feels looked after and wants to come back.

If you genuinely love hospitality, get energy from a busy room, and think "customer service" every time you pick up the phone or read a booking request, this is your role.

What You'll Be Doing Day-to-Day

- Owning the guest journey — enquiries, bookings, walk-ins and special requests — handled promptly, warmly and professionally
- Delivering warm, attentive service that anticipates guest needs before they're asked
- Handling guest issues quickly and turning complaints into loyal regulars
- Leading the floor team by example, with clear communication and real leadership
- Controlling the atmosphere — music, lighting, temperature and table flow — to suit every service
- Maintaining high service standards, speed and quality while jumping in when it's busy
- Driving sales through smart upselling and genuine recommendations
- Keeping the venue spotless and ready from open to close




- Completing accurate end-of-night reporting.
- Working closely with the kitchen, bar and management team

What We're Looking For

- A genuine, driven customer-service focus — you notice what a guest needs before they say it
- Comfort handling bookings and enquiries by phone and email, not just at the table
- Previous experience in a similar floor supervisor or senior floor role in a busy restaurant
- Solid leadership and people skills
- Solid food and beverage knowledge with confidence to upsell
- Current RSA certificate (must carry it on every shift)
- Professional presentation and a positive, calm attitude under pressure
- Availability for nights, weekends and public holidays (essential)
