Diploma and Certificate III Educators - temporary contract and casual

We are looking for reliable, engaged Casual Educators holding a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care to support our team on an as-needed basis. You will help deliver day-to-day routines, support outdoor and indoor play, maintain high standards of active supervision, and uphold our child protection obligations.

Key responsibilities

n

Actively apply the 10 NSW Child Safe Standards. Identify and report any risks or concerns in line with NSW mandatory reporting requirements and service policy.

n

Maintain high-visibility, continuous supervision across both indoor environments and outdoor nature spaces.

n

Support children's engagement with nature, outdoor exploration, and child-led play.

n

Work collaboratively with permanent educators to ensure clean, secure, and welcoming learning environments.

n

Follow the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations and center policies at all times.

About you

n

Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).

n

A current, valid NSW Working with Children Check (paid employment).

n





Completed approved NSW Child Protection training (e.g., CHCPRT025 / CHCPRT002) or willing to complete prior to starting.

n

Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (HLTAID012).

n

Sound understanding of mandatory reporting obligations and the NQF.

n

A practical, gentle approach to supporting children and working within a team.

n

Commitment to providing quality and inclusive experiences and inviting learning environments for children

Experience working with children aged 3-6 years
