Full time Administration/Receptionist position at our purpose-built Equine Hospital in a specialist equine veterinary practice. Located at Horsley Park.

REC Equine Specialists is the leading specialist equine veterinary practice servicing a wide range of horses and ponies, from miniature to elite race and sport horses. We provide our clients withthe highest quality, state-of-the-art veterinary services to the greater Sydney area.

Working hours will be 10:00am to 6:00pm

Your new role

n

In your recent role you will be responsible for:

n

n
- Administration:
n
- Supporting the veterinary reports requirements of the business
n
- Provision of billing services to our veterinary staff
n
- Administration/maintenance of client/patient data in our practice management system
n
- Debt collection and answering accounts calls
n
- Reception
n
- Providing support to our head Receptionist during lunchtime, late afternoons and holidays
n
- Meeting and greeting guests
n
- Re-direct calls and take accurate messages as required and appropriate
n




- Maintaining and management of appointments/bookings for the practice
n

What you'll need to succeed

n

To be successful in this role you will have:

n

n
- Experience in a medical reception or administration role
n
- Theability to multitask and prioritise work
n
- Robust written and verbal communication skills
n
- High attention to detail
n
- Microsoft Office Intermediate to Advanced
n
- Be punctual and reliable
n
- Be a self-sufficient and motivated individual who has experience working on reception and handling a busy switchboard
n

Please Note: Basic horse knowledge and veterinary/medical terminology would be a distinct advantage, but is not essential.
