Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Trailer Mechanic to run our trailer workshop in Rocklea. This is a full time long term day shift position. Monday to Friday with half day work on Saturday.

Key responsibilities

- Performing scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on trailers
n
- Inspecting and repairing suspension systems, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and braking systems
n
- Replacing and repairing lights, wiring harnesses, and basic electrical circuits
n
- Using and maintaining workplace tools and equipment effectively
n
- Ensuring the workshop remains clean, safe, and efficient
n
- Keeping detailed records of work performed and participating in safety initiatives
n

About you

n

- Trade Qualified Heavy Vehicle or Trailer Mechanic
n




- Experience in mechanical repairs and servicing of semi-trailers
n
- Strong technical knowledge of heavy vehicle trailer systems and components
n
- A problem-solving mindset and proactive work ethic
n
- Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail
n
- Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping
n
