Synergie Australia has partnered with a leading steel manufacturing company in Wetherill Park that is looking for an experienced Forklift Driver who is interested in learning to operate a Mobicon.

n

About the Role

n

This is a great opportunity for an experienced forklift operator looking to develop a new skill set and learn Mobicon machinery.

n

You don't necessarily need previous Mobicon experience. If you have strong forklift experience, good hand-eye coordination and are comfortable learning new equipment, full training will be provided.

n

The Mobicon is operated using joysticks and camera systems, so we're looking for someone who is comfortable with technology, safety-focused and keen to learn.

n

We're looking for someone reliable and committed to the opportunity, with the potential for temp-to-perm employment for the right person.

What You'll Be Doing

n

n
- Operating forklifts, including Reach, Side Loader and Counterbalance
n
- Learning to operate Mobicon machinery
n
- Using joystick and camera systems to safely manoeuvre equipment
n
- Loading, unloading and moving steel products and materials
n
- Supporting general warehouse and production activities
n
- Following all safety procedures and site requirements
n
- Conducting equipment checks and reporting any hazards or issues
n
- Maintaining a clean and secure work environment
n

What We're Looking For

Essential:

n

n
- Proven forklift operating experience
n
- Current forklift licence
n
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
n
- Good hand-eye coordination
n
- Comfortable learning and operating new technology
n
- Reliable and punctual
n
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling
n
- Willingness to learn Mobicon operations
n

Highly Desirable:

n

n
- Experience operating Reach, Side Loader or Counterbalance forklifts
n
- Previous warehouse, steel or manufacturing experience
n
- Experience working around heavy materials or industrial equipment
n
- Previous experience operating machinery using cameras, controls or joysticks
n
- Previous temp-to-perm experience
n
