About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Lead Document Controller to join our clients Adelaide-based team on a full-time permanent basis. The role will be responsible for overseeing document control across projects, ensuring accurate records, effective document workflows and compliance with project and quality requirements. You will work closely with engineering, project management, procurement and external stakeholders, with occasional travel to project sites required.
Key Responsibilites
- Manage document control systems, registers, workflows and revision control across projects.
- Coordinate document distribution, transmittals, reviews and approvals with internal teams, clients,
vendors and contractors.
- Administer EDMS platforms such as Aconex, TeamBinder, SharePoint or similar systems.
- Maintain accurate document records and ensure compliance with project, quality and client requirements.
- Prepare document status reports and support project handover, close-out and archiving activities.
- Support QHSE documentation, records and activities as required.
Experience Required
- Previous experience in a Document Control or Project Administration role, preferably within engineering, construction, mining or resources.
- Experience using EDMS platforms such as Aconex, TeamBinder, SharePoint or similar.
- Robust understanding of document numbering, revision control, registers, transmittals and document workflows.
- High level of attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with engineers, project managers, clients and contractors.
- Understanding of quality, QHSE and document compliance requirements.
