Registered Nurse - Residential Withdrawal & Rehabilitation

Permanent Full Time or Part Time (22.5 to 38 hours per week)

Highly experienced Enrolled Nurses with relevant AOD, mental health or residential care experience are encouraged to apply.

Registered Nurse: $46.36 - $54.70 per hour + super
n Highly Experienced Enrolled Nurse: $38.27 - $40.63 per hour + super
n Salary Packaging Available | Applicable afternoon, night, weekend and public holiday penalty rates apply.

Located in Parkhurst, Rockhampton, Binbi Yadubay (Healthy Beginnings) provides residential withdrawal and rehabilitation services in a safe, supportive and recovery-focused environment. Our service includes an 8-bed withdrawal unit, a 32-bed residential rehabilitation program and a family recovery program supporting parents and their children.
n
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team on a permanent basis, with flexible hours available from 22.5 to 38 hours per week.
n
Work alongside experienced AOD clinicians, Treatment Facilitators and Support Workers in a multidisciplinary residential setting where nursing plays a vital role in supporting safe withdrawal, recovery and long-term wellbeing.
n
Working within a multidisciplinary team of Treatment Facilitators, Support Workers and external healthcare providers, you will be a primary provider of health support to people participating in our programs.
n
You will provide evidence-informed nursing care to people experiencing alcohol and other drug dependency, mental health concerns and complex co‐occurring health conditions while supporting clients throughout their withdrawal and recovery journey.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n

- Health assessments and nursing interventions
n
- Withdrawal monitoring and support
n
- Medication administration and management
n
- Care planning and clinical documentation
n
- Client intake, admissions and transitions into treatment
n
- Liaison with GPs, pharmacists and other healthcare providers
n
- Health education and therapeutic support activities
n
- Supporting a positive and recovery-focused team culture
n
n
As we are a 24/7 service, shifts are available across mornings, afternoons and nights.
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
- Current AHPRA registration
n
- Demonstrated ability to deliver client‐centred nursing care
n
- Experience in alcohol and other drug services, mental health, primary health, community health, correctional health or residential care settings will be highly regarded.
n
- Strong communication, assessment and clinical decision‐making skills
n
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
n
- Current Australian Driver Licence
n
- Current National Police Check (or ability to obtain)
n
- Current Blue Card (or ability to obtain)
n
n
