Job Description

Unique Support Co is a boutique NDIS support provider looking for a Disability Support Worker based on the Gold Coast, to join the team providing 24/7 Supported Independent Living care.

n

The role offers consistent, valuable length shifts each week, varying between 8 hour day shift, 5 hour evening shift & 12 hour sleepover shift.

Key responsibilities

Provide personalised, high-quality support to participants

n

Understand each person's individual needs, goals, preferences and strengths

n

Promote dignity, choice and independence

n

Build genuine relationships and trust with participants

n

Work collaboratively with the team to ensure consistency and best possible outcomes

n

Create a safe and supportive environment where every participant feels valued, respected and heard

n

Qualifications Required

NDIS Worker Screening Check

n

Working with Children Check

n





First Aid & CPR

n

Valid Licence

n

Vehicle Insurance

n

NDIS Worker Orientation Module

n

ABN & Public Liability Insurance

n

Preferred experience within the NDIS Sector

Our team a sub-contractor support workers working using their own ABN, however there is an option for casual employees for the right person.

n

We offer competitive hourly rates that increase in the evening, on weekends & public holidays. The hourly rate increases at 8pm Monday - Friday, on weekends and public holidays.
