Marina Mooloolaba is a new and exciting waterfront venue on the Sunshine Coast, bringing together great hospitality, food, drinks and events in a beautiful marina setting.

As we launch and build our business, we're looking for enthusiastic and experienced Front of House team members to join us from the beginning and grow with the venue.

n

We're a new venue that is growing quickly, with bookings and events increasing as we establish ourselves.

n

In the initial weeks, hours may be lighter as we build our event calendar and customer base. However, we expect this to increase significantly over the coming weeks, with the opportunity to work close to full-time equivalent hours as the business continues to grow.

n

This is a great opportunity for hospitality professionals who are looking for ongoing work and want to be part of a venue from the early stages of its growth.

About the roles

n

As part of the Marina Mooloolaba team, you'll play an key role in creating memorable experiences for our guests — from relaxed waterfront dining and drinks through to weddings, celebrations, corporate functions and larger events.

n

Key responsibilities include:

n

n
- Delivering warm, professional and attentive service to guests
n
- Taking food and beverage orders and ensuring they are delivered accurately and efficiently
n
- Setting up and packing down event spaces
n
- Serving food and beverages during functions and events
n
- Maintaining a high standard of presentation across the venue
n
- Providing knowledgeable and friendly bar service
n
- Preparing and serving cocktails, wine, beer and other beverages
n




- Clearing and resetting tables efficiently
n
- Working closely with the kitchen, bar and events teams to ensure smooth service
n
- Anticipating guest needs and going above and beyond to create a great experience
n
- Following RSA, food safety and workplace health and safety requirements
n
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment
n
- Assisting with other event and hospitality duties as required
n

What we're looking for

n

We're looking for people who are:

n

n
- Experienced in hospitality, events, restaurants or bars
n
- Confident and professional in a guest-facing workplace
n
- Friendly, energetic and genuinely passionate about hospitality
n
- Able to work efficiently in a busy event environment
n
- Reliable, punctual and well presented
n
- Strong communicators who work well as part of a team
n
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends and event shifts
n
- RSA certified where required
n
- Experienced in functions/events or high-volume service — highly regarded
n

n

For our waiter positions, solid table-service and event experience is essential.

n

For our bartending positions, we're looking for confident bartenders who can work efficiently under pressure while delivering great drinks and exceptional service.
