This position would suit a qualified mechanic looking for
variety across workshop and field-based work , maintaining and repairing a range of earthmoving and mobile plant equipment.
The role offers long-term stability, overtime opportunities and the chance to work independently while being supported by an experienced technical team. The Role Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Servicing and repairing earthmoving and mobile plant equipment
Mechanical fault finding and diagnostics
Hydraulic and basic electrical troubleshooting
Engine, transmission and component repairs
Preventative and scheduled maintenance
Equipment inspections and fault identification
Attending breakdowns and onsite repairs when required
Completing workshop and field service duties
Maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship
About You We are looking for someone with:
Australian-recognised Mobile Plant Technology qualifications
Previous experience working with heavy equipment, earthmoving or mobile plant
Strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge
Confident diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
Ability to work independently when required
Good communication and time-management skills
Strong commitment to workplace safety
Full Australian working rights
Additional licences and experience across
field service, fabrication or welding
will be well regarded but are not essential.
