About the role
The Presenter Services Coordinator, Kensington Town Hall sits within the Creative Melbourne branch and offers an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of a welcoming, high-quality experience for presenters, hirers and visitors at one of Melbourne’s community and cultural venues.
As the primary contact for Kensington Town Hall, you will coordinate venue bookings and hire arrangements, support the delivery of events and work closely with presenters and internal teams to ensure activities are well planned and delivered safely and smoothly.
You’ll play an important role in supporting Kensington Town Hall as a desirable creative venue and community hub, helping facilitate a diverse range of creative and community activity.
A little more about the role
Coordinate the end-to-end presenter and hirer experience, including enquiries, site visits, bookings, cost estimates, contracts, inductions and post-event administration.
Build strong relationships with presenters and hirers, working closely with technical and internal teams to understand requirements and support successful event delivery.
Support the ongoing development of Kensington Town Hall through feedback, evaluation and monitoring of the venue’s booking mix.
Work collaboratively with the Communications Coordinator to support promotional activity and attract a diverse range of creative and community hirers.

About you
You are an organised and customer-focused coordinator who enjoys working with a diverse range of people and creating positive experiences. You are comfortable managing multiple bookings and administrative requirements while maintaining strong attention to detail.
What your experience might look like
Experience working in a creative venue, events, front-of-house or similar environment, supporting a range of bookings, events and presenter or hirer enquiries.
Demonstrated experience providing high-quality customer service and confidently responding to a diverse range of customers and stakeholders.
Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate bookings, schedules, hire contracts, documentation and other day-to-day venue requirements.
Confidence using systems and databases to maintain accurate records, manage information and support reporting requirements.
