Logistics Manager – Food Manufacturing | Maternity Leave Cover | Immediate Start

Gradi Fine Foods is looking for an experienced full-time Logistics Manager for an immediate start, leading inbound deliveries, outbound dispatch and stock management at our Coburg North food manufacturing facility.

With growing customer demand and a busy production environment, this is an opportunity to take ownership of the daily logistics operation, lead the team and keep ingredients, packaging and finished products moving efficiently.

Required: Food manufacturing logistics experience, proven team leadership and immediate availability

Salary: $90,000–$110,000 per annum + superannuation, depending on experience, paid proportionately for the contract period

Location: Coburg North, VIC – fully on site

Hours: Full-time, with a 7:00 am start

- Lead the logistics and warehouse team, allocating daily tasks and maintaining safe, efficient workflows.
- Oversee inbound deliveries, checking quantities, condition and documentation, and resolving shortages or discrepancies.
- Manage picking, packing and outbound dispatch to ensure orders leave accurately and on time.
- Maintain stock accuracy through inventory records, regular stocktakes and investigation of variances.
- Oversee stock rotation, expiry dates, batch traceability and appropriate storage conditions.
- Coordinate with production and purchasing to maintain ingredient and packaging availability and manage finished goods movements.
- Liaise with suppliers, transport providers and internal teams to resolve delivery issues and changing priorities.
- Improve warehouse organisation,



dispatch performance and stock control while maintaining food safety and workplace safety standards.

What you’ll bring

- Demonstrated logistics or warehouse leadership experience within a food manufacturing facility.
- Robust practical knowledge of inbound receiving, outbound dispatch and inventory management.
- Experience supervising a team and keeping operations moving in a busy production environment.
- An understanding of food safety, cold chain requirements, traceability and stock rotation.
- Confidence using inventory or warehouse management systems and Excel.
- Clear communication, sound judgement and a practical approach to solving problems.
- Availability to start immediately, work full-time on site with a 7:00 am start and commit through to 27 March 2027.
