We are currently seeking reliable and motivated Factory/Machine Operators with a forklift licence to join a well-established manufacturing operation in Crestmead. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for long-term stability, consistent hours and the opportunity to develop their skills within a manufacturing environment.

The Role

Working as part of a close-knit factory team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of manufacturing machinery and ensuring products are produced to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:

- Set up, operate and break down machinery in accordance with procedures

- Operate multiple machines across the production process

- Manufacture and produce cable products efficiently and accurately

- Pack finished products in preparation for quality assurance testing

- Complete regular quality checks and maintain a strong eye for detail

- Follow all OH&S; and workplace safety procedures

- Maintain a clean and organised production area

- Work collaboratively as part of a manufacturing team





- Learn current machinery and processes with training provided

4-Day Rotating Roster

This role operates on a 38-hour, 4-day working week, with Fridays off every week.

The roster rotates between day and afternoon/night shifts on a weekly basis.

Day Shift:

Monday – Wednesday: 6:00am – 4:00pm

Thursday: 6:00am – 2:00pm

Afternoon/Night Shift:

Monday – Wednesday: 4:00pm – 2:00am

Thursday: 4:00pm – 12:00am

Meal breaks are additional to the above hours.

About You To be successful in this position, you will ideally have:

- Previous Machine Operator experience within a manufacturing environment
- A mechanically minded approach and willingness to learn
- A strong "can-do" attitude

- Ability to operate multiple machines

- Excellent attention to detail

- Good understanding of OH&S; and workplace safety

- Ability to consistently handle 20kg

- Forklift licence – ESSENTIAL

- Current driver's licence and reliable transport

- Ability to work rotating day and afternoon/night shifts

- Experience in cable manufacturing will be highly regarded
