A top-tier Australian firm is seeking a talented Senior Associate to join its leading Construction & Major Projects practice in Brisbane.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a highly regarded projects team that acts on some of Australia's largest and most complex infrastructure matters. The team advises government, project sponsors, financiers and contractors on the procurement, delivery and operation of major projects, with particular strength in Public Private Partnerships. The successful candidate will work closely with a market-leading Partner and gain exposure to high-profile transport, social infrastructure and technology projects across Queensland and nationally.

The Role The successful lawyer will be involved in:

- Advising on the procurement and delivery of major infrastructure projects, including PPPs and alliance arrangements.
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex construction, project and outsourcing contracts.
- Acting for government, sponsors, financiers and contractors across the project lifecycle, from bid through to operation.
- Running matters and managing client relationships day-to-day, with direct client contact.
- Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers within the team.
- Contributing to business development and the growth of the practice.

About you:

The ideal candidate will possess:





- Between 5–7 years' post-qualification experience in front-end construction, projects or infrastructure.
- Experience gained within a top-tier or leading national firm.
- Solid technical legal skills and excellent drafting and negotiation abilities.
- Exposure to major infrastructure, PPP or government procurement matters.
- The confidence to run matters independently and manage client relationships.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused approach.
