The Role

We're looking for a qualified, experienced, and confident Male Swimming Instructor to join our team for an upcoming school swim program from October 9th - November 9th. You'll teach small groups (8–12 students) of boys aged 11-14 years, working across a program of 25-75 students per day (3-hour shift). You will have the support of a second qualified instructor, as well as a dedicated lifeguard on duty and reception staff. We are a fully equipped facility and provide all equipment and teaching aids.

Required Availability





- Male instructors — Friday mornings from 8:30am - 11:30am
- October 9th - November 9th 2026

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver a 4-week school swimming program for boys aged 11-14years
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching to individual needs
- Maintain a safe pool environment and respond to emergencies as required
- Communicate effectively with students, parents/guardians, and centre staff

What We're Looking For

- Current Swimming Teacher qualification
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Working With Children Check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable and punctual
