The Management Accountant will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of a manufacturing business in Berwick. This permanent role involves providing financial insights and analysis to drive decision-making and business growth.

Description

- Prepare and analyse financial reports to assist in strategic decision-making.
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure accurate financial planning.
- Monitor and report on financial performance against key metrics.
- Support the month-end and year-end financial close processes.
- Provide cost analysis and profitability reports to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and policies.
- Collaborate with various departments to improve financial processes and controls.
- Assist with ad hoc financial projects and reports as required.

Profile A successful Management Accountant should have:

- A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualifications such as CPA or CA.




- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience across big-4 and/or mid-tier business advisory & assurance is highly applicable.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong attitude to be curious.
- Awareness of growth opportunities at one's disposal to expand their capabilities
- Attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders effectively.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
