Senior Manager / Associate Director - Business Services & Tax A senior leadership opportunity with a clear pathway to partnership, working alongside two supportive and highly regarded Partners in a well-established Brisbane CBD firm.

About The Role An excellent opportunity has opened up for an experienced Manager or Associate Director to join a large, well-structured Business Services team in Brisbane CBD. This is a genuine leadership role reporting directly to a well-respected Partner, with the chance to build a long-term career, whether that means a clear pathway to Partnership or a strong leadership track. You will work closely with another senior leader in the team, sharing responsibility across a combined group of client-facing accountants while managing your own portfolio and direct reports.

What You Will Be Doing

- Managing and reviewing a portfolio of clients ranging from $3 million to $10 million in size, with a mix of industries including agribusiness, mining services, rural businesses and professional services
- Overseeing and mentoring a team of accountants (Supervisors, Seniors, Intermediates and Grads), with 5 direct reports plus shared support across a broader team
- Working closely with the Partner and fellow senior leader to manage workflow, client relationships and team development
- Reviewing compliance and advisory work across a broad client base
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, with genuine enjoyment of client facing work
- Contributing to the ongoing growth and direction of the team

What We Are Looking For

- CA or CPA qualified accountant with strong public practice experience at Manager or Associate Director level




- Proven experience managing and mentoring a team within a public practice environment
- Strong technical skills across compliance and advisory work
- Comfortable managing a varied client base, agribusiness exposure is well regarded but not essential
- Excellent relationship building and communication skills
- Genuine interest in either a Partnership pathway or a long term leadership career
