ARISO brings industry and governments together around a national ambition: rail standards that are practical, trusted and increasingly harmonised across jurisdictions. By strengthening consistency and interoperability, our work can reduce unnecessary complexity, support safer operations and help unlock productivity across the Australian rail system. Your opportunity to make an impact

National harmonisation is not achieved by standards documents alone - it depends on strong relationships, active industry participation and a community that understands the value of working together. Reporting to the Head of Engagement and Industry Partnerships, as Manager, Member Services and Growth you will help build that community. You will grow and deepen ARISO's membership, create compelling forums and events, and connect members with the standards, technical conversations and reform priorities that matter to them.

From ARISO's national conference to targeted roundtables and workshops, you will create experiences that strengthen engagement, support adoption and give industry a meaningful voice in ARISO's work.

What you will shape and deliver

Grow membership through targeted acquisition and strengthened retention strategies.

Deliver a high-quality national conference and a sustainable annual events calendar.

Design and run forums and workshops that support standards implementation.





Build and manage a sponsor pipeline that enhances member value and revenue.

Represent ARISO with members and stakeholders, deepening industry connection.

Lift CRM data quality, engagement tracking and reporting for better decisions.

Align members and events with technical committees, Development Groups and releases.

What you'll bring

You are a relationship builder and commercially minded operator who enjoys turning a good strategy into an excellent member experience. You understand how to grow a qualified community, create events people value and build partnerships that benefit both members and the organisation. You are organised, energetic and credible with senior stakeholders, but also happy to roll up your sleeves and deliver. Rail or infrastructure experience is useful;

experience in associations, professional bodies, standards organisations or complex B2B environments can be equally relevant.

Delivered national or large-scale professional events (conferences, forums, workshops).

Membership management, B2B account management or commercial business development experience.

Designed and executed acquisition, retention and revenue-growth strategies.

Built sponsorship packages and managed sponsor relationships.

Strong CRM/events platform capability (e.g., HubSpot or Salesforce).

Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and project management under tight deadlines.

Also valued: Experience in Australian rail, transport or infrastructure.

Also valued: Familiarity with industry associations, standards bodies or regulatory environments.
