The Opportunity

As the Manager, Strategic Partnerships & Product, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with external platforms and research houses to ensure La Trobe Financial products are widely available in the market.

The primary responsibility of this role will be to maintain a repository of product information, ensure the integrity of this data and assist internal stakeholders to produce associated collateral.

This is an innovative role which will see you working with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, requiring you to build and develop relationships at all levels. You will become a valued, ‘go to’ person for many of our industry counterparts. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities within tight timeframes to ensure alignment with company objectives and customer needs.

The role requires a solid understanding of financial products and associated regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day tasks with our platform partners and rating agencies, including coordinating rating reviews, completion of due diligence requests and responding to general product related questions
- Manage the review, execution and monitoring of all platforms,



sponsorships and rating agency agreements
- Effectively prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and deliver results for our strategic partners
- Provide excellent communication and service to our strategic partners, addressing queries and concerns promptly. Manage the timely communications on the business and product related matters
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver on meeting client requests and achieve business objectives
- Stay up to date with market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments
- Prepare and initiate product and TMD reviews as part of our DDO program
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as senior management, legal, marketing, distribution, investor centre, investor services and operations to ensure appropriate support is provided for product initiatives
- Prepare required documentation to arrange payment of relevant fees payable by our strategic partners
- Assist with the maintenance of marketing material available on the corporate website for La Trobe Financial products

About You

- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, preferably business, commerce or finance.
- Relevant experience in financial services preferably platform and asset management experience, with understanding of financial products and services and the regulatory environment. Preferably 3+ years
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills




- Proven ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments with changing priorities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to problem solve and manage third parties to the required outcomes.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated experience working in a team environment and autonomously
- Outstanding customer service skills
