raafa Home Care is the in‐home support division of raafa, providing quality care and support to clients through government‐funded programs, private services and brokerage arrangements.
n
As the Business Support Officer – Home Care, you will support the day‐to‐day operational, financial and administrative functions of our Home Care service, ensuring billing, payroll, reporting and systems processes are delivered accurately, efficiently and in line with compliance requirements. This diverse role is suited to an experienced business support professional who enjoys working across multiple systems, analysing data, improving processes and providing practical support that enables high‐quality service delivery. Experience in Home Care, Aged Care, Community Services or a similar service‐based industry, together with strong financial administration, systems administration and business support skills, will be highly regarded.

This is a fixed term 8‐month contract – Monday to Friday based in Bull Creek.

As The Business Support Office – Home Care You Will
n
n
- Oversee end‐to‐end billing processes, resolve discrepancies, manage debtors, support our Finance Team with receipting, reconciliation and month‐end reporting.
n
- Validate payroll reports, ensure SCHADS Award compliance and prepare government funding claims.
n
- Maintain reporting tools and optimise care management platforms (AlayaCare).
n
- Collaborate with management and staff on targeted projects to improve operational efficiency.
n
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and ad‐hoc projects and tasks that enhance governance and reduce risk.
n
- Act as the primary liaison between Home Care, Finance, and Accounts Receivable.
n

About You
n
n
- Demonstrated experience in a business support, administration or operational support role.
n
- Experience working in the aged care, home care, disability or community services sector (highly regarded).
n
- Proficiency with care management platforms (AlayaCare) and ERP systems (Epicor) (desirable).
n
- Understanding of SCHADS Award and payroll processes.
n
- Knowledge of government funding programs (Support at Home/Associated Providers, Veterans Home Care).
n
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and reporting skills.
n
- Robust organisational,
problem‐solving and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
n
- Possess a Certificate IV or Diploma in Business Administration, Finance or related field (desirable).
