PIPE WELDERS - BRISBANE

Engineering Trades Australia are currently recruiting experienced Pipe Welders for a busy workshop based in Brisbane.

n

This is a great prospect for experienced Pipe Welders looking for consistent Monday-Friday work, with occasional Saturday shifts available.

n

THE ROLE

n

Working within a professional workshop environment, you will be responsible for pipe welding, fabrication and assembly across a range of industrial projects.

n

Duties may include:

n

n
- TIG, MIG, Stick and/or Flux Core pipe welding
n
- Welding carbon and stainless-steel pipework
n
- Pipe fabrication, fit-up, alignment and preparation
n
- Reading and interpreting isometric drawings and welding specifications
n
- Pipe cutting, beveling, preparation and tacking
n
- Fabrication and assembly of industrial pipework
n
- Completing welds to required quality and specifications
n
- General workshop fabrication and maintenance
n
- Using hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment
n




- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship, safety and quality
n

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

n

n
- Experienced Pipe Welder
n
- Strong pipe welding and fabrication experience
n
- TIG welding experience highly regarded
n
- Experience with carbon and/or stainless-steel pipe
n
- Ability to read and interpret isometric drawings
n
- Strong pipe fit-up and fabrication skills
n
- Industrial, mining, oil & gas, manufacturing or heavy industrial experience advantageous
n
- Relevant welding qualifications/tickets
n
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
n
- Reliable and able to work effectively within a team
