We're looking for an experienced Excavator / Plant Operator to join the Retz team, working across Brisbane, North Lakes and surrounding areas.

n

This is not a role where you'll just be sitting on one machine all day. We're after someone who is confident across a range of plant, takes pride in their work, looks after the gear they operate, backs their crew and wants to be part of a team that does things properly.

Excavator / Plant Operator — Brisbane & North Lakes

n

Your Role

n

You'll be working across a mix of industrial and commercial construction projects, operating a variety of plant including:

n

- Excavators
n
- Dozers
n
- Bobcats / skid steers
n
- Loaders and other site plant
n
- Trenching and excavation works
n
- Detailed excavation around existing services
n
- Backfilling, trimming and site preparation
n
- Loading and moving materials
n
- Working safely around plumbing crews, services and active construction areas
n
- Carrying out daily plant checks and helping keep equipment well maintained
n

n

You'll need to be comfortable jumping between machines and helping the wider crew where required.

What We're Looking For

n

You'll need:

n

n
- Relevant plant tickets and demonstrated competency across the equipment you operate
n
- White Card
n
- Current driver licence and reliable transport
n
- Proven experience operating a range of plant including excavators, dozers, bobcats and loaders
n
- Experience working around underground services and live construction sites
n
- Ability to read site conditions and work safely around other trades
n
- Strong safety focus
n
- Valuable attitude and reliable work ethic
n
- Team-first approach
n
- Experience in hydraulic, plumbing or services-related excavation will be highly regarded.
n

Offer

- Competitive hourly rate | $50.00 - $56.00 per hour + super (based on experience and capability)
