Key Responsibilities
Performroutinevehicleservicingandscheduledmaintenance
Carryoutmechanicalrepairsonlightvehiclesand4WDs
Diagnosemechanicalandelectricalfaultsusingappropriatediagnosticequipment
Conductvehicleinspectionsandidentifyrepairrequirements
Repairandreplacecomponentsincludingbrakes,suspension,clutches,timingbeltsandenginecomponents
Maintainaclean,organisedandsafeworkshopenvironment
Followworkplacehealthandsafetyproceduresatalltimes
Workcollaborativelywiththeworkshopteamtoachievedailytargets
Assistwithworkshopoperationsandsupervisorydutieswhenrequired
Deliverhigh-qualityworkmanshipandexcellentcustomerservice
Requirements & Eligibility
CertificateIIIinLightVehicleMechanicalTechnologyorequivalenttradequalification
Minimum3yearsofpost-tradeexperienceasaLightVehicleMechanic
Strongexperienceinservicing,repairinganddiagnosingawiderangeofvehiclemakesandmodels
Experiencereplacingtimingbelts,clutchesandheadgasketsishighlydesirable
AirConditioningServiceLicenceisadvantageousbutnotessential
Validdriver'slicence
Excellentfault-findinganddiagnosticskills
