CMR Automotive is looking for a Workshop Controller / Supervisor / Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day flow of our workshop and help lead our technical team.

The Role

n

You'll play a key role in the daily operation of the workshop, including:

n

n
- Managing and allocating jobs across the technician team
n
- Planning daily workflow and monitoring workshop capacity
n
- Keeping jobs on schedule and identifying delays before they become problems
n
- Supporting and guiding technicians with technical and workflow issues
n
- Working closely with the service/front-of-house team
n
- Monitoring productivity, efficiency and quality of workmanship
n
- Ensuring completed work meets CMR's standards
n
- Helping develop processes and continuously improve workshop performance
n
- Creating a positive, accountable and professional workshop environment
n

About You

n





You may already be a Workshop Controller, Workshop Supervisor, Foreman or Workshop Manager — or you might be a highly experienced Senior/Master Technician ready to move into workshop leadership.

n

Ideally, you'll bring:

n

- Robust automotive technical knowledge and workshop experience
n
- Excellent organisation and job-management skills
n
- The ability to lead and earn the respect of a team of technicians
n
- Clear, confident communication
n
- A practical approach to problem solving
n
- High standards for workmanship and customer outcomes
n
- The ability to prioritise when the workshop gets busy
n
- A genuine interest in improving workshop efficiency and developing the team
n

An automotive trade qualification is highly regarded.
