About the role We are seeking an experienced

Mechanic

to join our dynamic team at EMD Motor Sport Pty Ltd in Caringbah, NSW 2229. This is a

full-time position

offering a rewarding opportunity to work in a professional automotive environment. As a Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality mechanical services, diagnostics, and repairs to our customers' vehicles. This position is integral to maintaining our reputation for excellence and ensuring customer satisfaction through skilled, reliable workmanship.

Key responsibilities

Perform a range of mechanical repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including engine diagnostics, servicing, and component replacement

Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues and determine the most appropriate repair solutions

Use diagnostic equipment and testing tools to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical problems efficiently

Follow technical specifications and manufacturer guidelines to ensure repairs are completed to the highest standard

Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all work completed

Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair requirements, timelines, and costs





Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols

Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs

Stay current with automotive industry developments and new technologies

What we're looking for

A recognised automotive trade qualification or equivalent experience as a qualified Mechanic

Proven experience in automotive mechanical repairs, diagnostics, and servicing

Strong proficiency with diagnostic equipment and mechanical tools

Knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and suspension

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship

Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and service manuals

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach

Current First Aid certification is highly desirable

Experience in a motor sport environment or performance vehicle servicing would be advantageous
