Job Description

We're looking for a hands‐on Food Safety and Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our production team.

This is a weekday day‐shift role focused on working on the production line and carrying out quality checks as a core part of the job.

The role

n

You will spend a large portion of your time on the production line verifying product quality and food safety in real time. You will also support the broader QA system, records, and improvement work.

n

Key responsibilities

n

- Work on the production line carrying out QA checks to confirm product meets customer specifications, food safety requirements and regulatory standards
n
- Process QA, production and logistics records
n
- Conduct internal and GMP audits
n
- Support external audits by government and certifying bodies
n
- Make real‐time decisions on line QA issues and consult the Operations Manager as needed
n
- Assess,



investigate and help implement corrective and preventive actions for complaints and non‐conforming product
n
- Coordinate in‐process and finished product samples for analysis
n
- Coordinate calibration of quality‐critical equipment to schedule
n
- Identify and take part in process improvement work
n
- Train and support staff in food safety and quality
n
- Work with other site teams to maintain QA systems and GMP standards
n

What you'll need

n

n
- Understanding of HACCP, GMP, food microbiology and QA systems
n
- Qualification in food science, biotechnology or similar, or equivalent industry experience
n
- Ability to work well on a production line and as part of a team
n
- Transparent communication with people at all levels
n
- Initiative and practical problem‐solving
n
- Strong organisation and the ability to work to timelines with limited supervision
