Are you an experienced Program Manager with a background in construction, electrical, ICT or electronic security projects? This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a portfolio of complex projects across ACT within a secure government construction environment.

This role requires an existing NV1 security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 clearance.

n

Reporting to the Project Director, you'll lead delivery end to end, own the program's commercial performance, and build and develop the team around you.

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

Lead end-to-end delivery across multiple concurrent work streams, from planning and procurement through installation, commissioning, client acceptance and handover

n

Establish program governance: plans, programmes, milestones, risk and dependency registers, and reporting to the client and leadership

n

Integrate works with the wider site program, sequencing and access windows, working alongside other contractors and site stakeholders

n

Own program revenue, gross margin, cost-to-complete, cash flow, procurement and forecasting

n

Identify, price and manage variations, extensions of time and claims, and ensure progress claims are accurate and timely

n

Lead and develop the delivery team, including engineers, an Assistant Project Manager and technicians

n

Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, making sure they are qualified, licensed, cleared and inducted

n

Ensure compliance with security, WHS, quality and contractual requirements

n





Act as senior point of contact for the Government client and key stakeholders

What You'll Bring:

n

n
- Current NV1 security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 clearance
n
- Minimum 7 years' project or program management experience across construction, electrical, building electronics, building management systems or related environments
n
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects within a construction or head contractor environment
n
- Strong commercial and contract management capability, including budgets, variations, claims and forecasting
n
- Experience working within government, Defence, critical infrastructure or other high-security environments
n
- Solid understanding of construction delivery, building management and access systems, or related technical services
n
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills
n
- Strong leadership capability with the ability to manage project teams and subcontractors
n
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
n

Highly regarded:

n

knowledge of PSPF and SCEC/ASIO-T4; AIPM membership or PMBOK/PRINCE2; a relevant tertiary qualification.
