NK Developments is seeking experienced Carpenters to join our growing construction team, working across a strong pipeline of residential and commercial projects throughout Townsville.

n

We are looking for reliable tradespeople who take pride in their workmanship, work effectively with other trades and can contribute to a productive and professional site environment.

We are looking for tradespeople who want consistent local work and are interested in becoming part of a reliable construction team delivering quality projects across Townsville.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Carry out general carpentry works including framing, fix-out, cladding, formwork and finishing
n
- Complete carpentry works across new builds, renovations and commercial construction
n
- Read and interpret construction drawings, plans and specifications
n
- Accurately measure, cut, assemble and install building materials
n
- Install doors, windows, cabinetry, fixtures and structural components
n
- Coordinate effectively with site supervisors, subcontractors and other trades
n
- Identify and communicate defects, construction issues and material requirements
n
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and site presentation
n
- Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project schedules
n




- Follow NK Developments' WHS procedures and site-specific safety requirements
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Trade-qualified Carpenters
n
- Demonstrated residential and/or commercial construction experience
n
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and sequencing
n
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team
n
- Current Construction White Card
n
- Current Australian driver's licence
n
- Reliable transport
n
- Competent use of carpentry hand and power tools
n
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
n
- Reliable, punctual and safety focused
n
- Positive communication and problem-solving skills
n

Highly Regarded

n

n
- Experience across both residential and commercial construction
n
- New build and renovation experience
n
- Formwork experience
n
- External cladding experience
n
- Working at Heights training
n
- EWP or relevant High Risk Work Licence
n
