Full Time | $120,000 – $140,000 + Super (Negotiable Based On Experience)

Rather than expecting our sales consultants to juggle relationship building, quoting and technical design, we're investing in a dedicated estimator whose job is to get every project right before it's sold.

We're looking for an experienced Solar & Electrical Estimator who enjoys solving technical challenges, improving systems, and supporting a high-performing sales team.

This isn't just another estimating role.

You'll become the technical backbone of our sales operation, ensuring every proposal is commercially sound, technically accurate, and ready for seamless delivery.

As we continue expanding into commercial solar, batteries, Level 2 electrical works and off-grid systems, this role will become one of the most important positions in our business.

About the Role This is a backend technical role that supports our Sales and Operations teams behind the scenes.

While our Sales Consultants are out building relationships and winning work, you'll be ensuring every project is technically accurate, commercially profitable, and ready for a seamless handover to our installation team.

You’ll be responsible for:

Preparing accurate estimates for residential, commercial, battery and electrical projects

Reviewing site information and technical requirements

Completing labour calculations and Gross Profit Per Hour (GPPH) analysis

Developing accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs)

Pricing cable runs, switchboards, batteries, Level 2 works and electrical upgrades

Reviewing system designs and technical specifications

Identifying project risks before jobs are sold

Supporting commercial tender submissions

Maintaining pricing databases and estimating templates

Improving estimating systems and processes

Working closely with Sales,



Operations and Installation teams to ensure smooth project handovers

Providing technical support to our Sales Consultants where required

What Success Looks Like Within your first 12 months you'll help us:

Win the right work at the right price

Protect project margins

Reduce pricing errors and costly variations

Improve quote turnaround times

Create seamless handovers to our Operations team

Improve forecasting and pipeline visibility

Support the continued growth of our commercial electrical and solar division

We're Looking For Someone Who Has experience estimating within:

Battery Storage

Electrical Contracting

And is confident with:

Reading electrical drawings and plans

Material take-offs

Cable calculations

Job costing

Margin calculations

Technical problem solving

Experience with SimPRO, SolarEdge Designer, Pylon, Nearmap, Excel or similar software will be highly regarded.
