Marketing Specialist – Hoops Academy

Hoops Management Pty Ltd is looking for a full time Marketing Specialist to join our team.

Position Purpose The Marketing Specialist – Hoops Academy is responsible for developing and executing the commercial, marketing and growth strategy for Hoops Academy programs. The role combines strategic marketing, market analysis, customer acquisition and retention, partnership development, commercial planning and program performance management to grow participation, revenue and brand engagement across the Academy.

The position is responsible for identifying market opportunities, understanding customer and competitor behaviour, developing targeted marketing strategies and campaigns, managing promotional activities, and measuring the effectiveness of marketing initiatives. The role also contributes to the commercial performance of Hoops Academy through pricing, program development, partnerships,



venue utilisation and business planning.

Skills and Experience required for the role

- Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, Commerce, Communications or a related discipline plus at least 1 year of relevant experience, OR at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in sport, basketball, community programs, education, youth programs or a similar participation-based environment would be advantageous.
- Robust analytical and reporting capabilities, including the ability to establish KPIs and evaluate marketing and commercial performance.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills.

Pay: $115,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
