The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic Mathematics and Science Teacher (Years 9–11) to join our collaborative team on a 0.6 FTE contract for Term 1, 2027.

The Role

- Designing and implementing engaging lesson objectives and programs aligned with ACARA and SACE guidelines.
- Creating effective assessment tasks, providing prompt and constructive feedback to students, and maintaining accurate grading records.
- Fostering a trusting, caring, and inclusive classroom environment where students feel empowered to reach their full potential.
- Balancing rigorous academic instruction with strong pastoral care, actively promoting student welfare and wellbeing.
- Staying up-to-date with current pedagogy, educational trends, and subject-matter developments.
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics and Science at the Middle and Senior School level.
- A deep understanding of the ACARA and SACE curriculum and modern pedagogical practices.




- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to relate exceptionally well to young people.
- A collaborative spirit, ready to work seamlessly within a dedicated teaching team.
- The flexibility to participate in occasional out-of-hours school requirements.
- The ability or willingness to teach in other curriculum areas is highly regarded.

What We Need

- A current South Australian Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- A current Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect (RRHAN) certificate
- A current Teacher Registration Certificate in South Australia
- First Aid and CPR Certificate (preferred)
- Academic Transcripts and Degrees, Diplomas, Certificates

All certificates and qualifications must be provided to the College prior to commencement of employment; and the College requests the applicant to disclose any information relevant to their eligibility to engage in activities involving children and young people.
