At Kyogle Council, we don’t just maintain machines—we power a region. We’re looking for a skilled, hands-on Mechanic to join our frontline maintenance crew. If you take pride in your work, know your way around a workshop, and want a job that matters — this is it.
What You’ll Do
· Service and repair a range of plant and fleet equipment
· Keep the workshop running safely and efficiently
· Report faults and maintain accurate records
· Work as part of a tight, reliable team
· Lead by example with safe work practices
What You’ll Need
Essential:
· Trade-qualified MVRIC Mechanic
· Robust experience with earthmoving, heavy & light vehicles
· WHS Induction (White Card)
· Solid communication and teamwork skills
· Able to work independently and follow directions
Desirable:
· HC licence, RMS AIS Certification, Forklift, First Aid,
Confined Space tickets
· Welding skills
· Council plant operation experience
