Queensland Physio Group is looking for a friendly, organised and reliable Medical Receptionist to join our team at our busy Mermaid Waters clinic.
We’re a growing Gold Coast physiotherapy group with a strong reputation for high-quality care, sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy, and a supportive team culture.
Our Mermaid Waters clinic is a modern, purpose-built facility with five private treatment rooms and a dedicated rehabilitation gym. You’ll work alongside a vibrant, friendly and social team treating a diverse patient base, from the general community through to competitive and elite athletes.
About the Role
As one of the first points of contact for our patients, you’ll play an important role in creating a welcoming and qualified clinic experience.
Your responsibilities will include
- Greeting patients and managing reception
- Answering phone and email enquiries
- Scheduling and managing patient appointments
- Processing payments and health fund claims
- General administration and data entry
- Supporting our physiotherapists and wider team with day-to-day clinic operations
What We’re Looking For
We’d love to hear from someone who has:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A warm, friendly and professional manner
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Confidence with computers and learning current systems
- The ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Reliability, initiative and a positive attitude
- Previous medical, allied health or reception experience is highly regarded, but not essential for the right person
