Role Description The Mercedes-Benz & JLR Workshop Parts Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Campbelltown, NSW. This position oversees the daily operations of the workshop parts department, ensuring accurate and timely supply of parts to technicians and service advisors. The role includes managing parts ordering, receiving, storage, and inventory control for Mercedes-Benz and Jaguar Land Rover vehicles, as well as coordinating returns, warranties, and core parts procedures.

The supervisor monitors stock levels, maintains parts databases, and liaises with internal teams and external suppliers to meet service schedules and customer expectations.



The role also involves leading and mentoring parts staff, implementing process improvements, and upholding safety, compliance, and brand standards within the workshop.

Qualifications

- Experience in automotive parts supervision or coordination within a dealership or workshop environment, preferably with prestige brands such as Mercedes-Benz and Jaguar Land Rover.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, cataloguing systems, and inventory management processes, including ordering, stock control, and warranty/returns procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and support a small team, with a focus on collaboration, performance, and service quality.
- Solid organisational and time management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet workshop deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with technicians, service advisors, suppliers, and customers in a skilled manner.
- Competence in using dealership management systems, parts ordering platforms, and standard office software (e.g., MS Office).
- Commitment to workplace health and safety, compliance with regulatory requirements, and adherence to manufacturer standards.
- Relevant automotive trade or parts qualifications, or equivalent experience; a valid driver’s licence is required.
