About the Role The Mill Hotel is seeking a reliable, detail‑focused Housekeeping Attendant to join our accommodation team. This role is essential in delivering a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for all guests staying in our rooms. You’ll work closely with the housekeeping team to maintain high presentation standards across all accommodation areas.

Key Responsibilities

- Clean and service guest rooms to venue standards, including:

- Making beds, changing linen, replenishing amenities

- Cleaning bathrooms, surfaces, and high‑touch areas

- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting

- Maintain cleanliness of corridors, storage rooms, and housekeeping areas

- Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns promptly

- Restock housekeeping trolleys and storage areas daily

- Follow all venue policies regarding lost property, guest privacy, and security

- Ensure compliance with WHS procedures, chemical handling, and safe work practices

- Uphold The Mill’s service standards by presenting a professional, friendly, and helpful attitude at all times

Skills & Experience





- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in hospitality or accommodation (preferred but not essential)

- Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow established procedures

- Comfortable with physical tasks and repetitive cleaning duties

- Positive communication skills and a positive team attitude

- Availability across weekdays and weekends

- Ability to lift, bend, and perform physical cleaning tasks
