Job Description

We are a small but vibrant entrepreneurial hotel company focussing on customer satisfaction, surprise and service. We are currently seeking a full time Manager to join our dynamic team located at The Cubana Ballina.

Key responsibilities:

n

Manage all aspects of motel operations, including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, and administration

n

Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and comfort throughout the property

n

Manage all OTA's & booking systems

n

Oversee reservations, check-in/outs, and handle guest inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner

n

Monitor financial performance, rates, budgeting, and cost control measures to optimise revenue and profitability

n

Act as ambassador for the resort, engaging with guests to address concerns, fulfill requests, and ensure their satisfaction during their stay

n

Implement and manage dynamic rate strategy

n

Implement and manage social media strategy

n

Manage staff, rosters and payroll

n

Collaboratively develop and execute local marketing strategies, working with the owner, to attract new guests,



maximise revenue opportunities, and increase occupancy

n

Maintain all safety and hotel compliance measures

n

Pool testing including reporting compliance

n

Additional management of boutique 4 room sister property

n

Qualifications:

n

Previous experience in hotel/motel in a medium accommodation property

n

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver exceptional service

n

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills

n

Proven track record of managing budgets, achieving targets, and maximising profitability

n

Experience in social media campaigns

n

Good experience and knowledge of revenue management processes and implementing rate strategies

n

Knowledge of reservation and property management systems, and industry best practices

n

A passion for providing outstanding customer service and creating memorable guest experiences

n

Competitive salary package commensurate with experience. The position is live-out or live-in with overnight caretaking responsibilities.
