About The Lavarack Health Centre
n
Lavarack Health Centre is located in Townsville at Lavarack Barracks, the largest Army base in Australia. It includes the Operational Deployment Force and facilities to undertake mission rehearsal exercises prior to deployment. The facility provides primary medical,
underwater medical, surgical outpatient, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health, and pharmaceutical care to approximately 8000 members. It also operates a 24/7 inpatient low dependency ward. The standard operating hours of the centre are generally 0730-1600 Monday - Friday

What You'll Do
n

- Deliver evidence-based psychological services
n
- Provide clinical supervision
n
- Work within a multidisciplinary team
n
- Conduct assessments and treatment planning
n
- Maintain clinical records and ensure compliance with standards and Defence policies
n
n
What You Bring
n
n
- Registered Psychologist (AHPRA) - current & unrestricted
n
- Approved Supervisor (Psychology Board of Australia)
n
- 2+ years' experience supervising provisionally registered psychologists
n
- Recent CPD participation (AHPRA compliant)
n
- Current CPR (HLTAID009) certification
n
