Requirements / Role Context

n

n
- Demonstrated minimum 12 months post registration experience as a Registered Nurse within an acute hospital setting.
n
- Nil or less than four months' experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute hospital paediatric healthcare setting, seeking to transition into and develop their practice into an acute paediatric hospital setting.
n
- Describe your interest in paediatric nursing and provide examples demonstrating your ability to apply transferable nursing skills, communicate effectively, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and engage in learning to support safe, family-centred care for children, young people, and their families.
n
- Can you describe how your personal and professional values influence your practice as a Registered Nurse? How do these values guide your interactions with patients, families, and the healthcare team?
n
- Describe a time when you influenced patient safety in your clinical practice. What actions did you take, outline any challenges you faced and how you addressed them, and what was the outcome?
