ABOUT THE ROLE:

n

Days of work range over Monday - Friday

n

Main duties of the position include:

n

n
- Private billing and receipting via electronic claiming with Medicare
n
- Financial counselling to provide detailed surgical estimates and co-ordinate theatre bookings for patients
n
- Liaise with external healthcare professionals and other third parties
n
- Ability to work independently as well as within a tight-knit team
n
- Diary management and patient bookings
n
- Responding to all incoming telephone calls, emails, faxes
n
- Preparation of clinics including management of referrals, sourcing pathology/radiology/etc required prior to consultation
n

ABOUT YOU:

n

n
- Min. 1 years Medical Receptionist experience (surgical practice highly desirable)
n
- Strong work ethic, reliable team member
n
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume workload environment
n
- Enthusiastic, energetic, adaptable and mature character
n
- Solid knowledge of Medicare billing
n
- STRONG organisational skills
