Verinder Sidhu Orthopaedic Surgeon – Newtown NSW

We are seeking a highly experienced and friendly practice manager to join our small team in Newtown and Darlinghurst working for an Orthopaedic Surgeon.

n

This is a full time role to work 5 days per week. We are looking for a start in the Middle of October.

n

As the Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the professional and efficient running of the practice and for providing exceptional patient care. The role involves a variety of tasks:

n

Managing the practice's schedule on a week to week basis

n

Providing information to patients who are considering surgery and booking patients for surgery at both RPA and St Vincent's Private Hospitals

n

Handling billing of private patients,



workers compensation and third party patients and liaising with insurance companies and case managers

n

Managing referrals and incoming correspondence

n

Performing administrative tasks - emails, scanning, faxing

n

The successful candidate will have the following attributes

n

Genie experience – essential, including use of billing software

n

High level computer literacy

n

Experience working in a busy workplace and ability to multitask

n

Ability to build and maintain connections with doctors, surgical teams and other admin staff

n

This is for one year of maternity leave cover with the potential to transfer to a permanent role.
