Team Global Express is seeking an experienced

HC Driver

to join our

Gracemere – Somerset operation

on a permanent full-time basis.

This is a

Monday to Friday role with a 7:00am start , responsible for completing pickups and deliveries safely and efficiently while ensuring our customers' freight reaches its destination within required timeframes.

HC Driver – Gracemere | Somerset About the Role

Complete

pickups and deliveries across Gracemere and surrounding areas .

Work

Monday to Friday with a 7:00am start .

Operate HC vehicles safely and professionally.

Complete deliveries and collections within designated timeframes.

Load and unload freight safely and efficiently.

Safely

restrain loads using appropriate equipment, including straps and chains .

Ensure freight is correctly secured before commencing your journey.

Conduct daily vehicle

pre-start checks

and report any defects or concerns.

Check freight and relevant documentation for accuracy.

Communicate effectively with the Operations team regarding delays or delivery issues.

Follow all company procedures and operational requirements.

Comply with





Chain of Responsibility (CoR), load restraint and fatigue-management requirements .

Report hazards, near misses and incidents in accordance with company processes.

Maintain a strong commitment to

workplace health and safety (WHS)

at all times.

What You'll Bring

Current and valid HC Driver Licence – mandatory .

Previous experience in a similar commercial driving role.

Experience transporting general freight will be highly regarded.

Sound knowledge of

load restraint , including the safe use of straps and chains.

Ability to safely load, secure and transport freight.

Robust time-management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines.

High attention to detail, particularly around safety and freight handling.

Ability to complete vehicle pre-start inspections.

Reliable and professional approach to work.

Good communication and customer-service skills.

Proactive approach to

WHS and safe work practices .

Full Australian working rights.
