Regulatory Liquidity Reporting - Senior Manager

About the Role

n

Prospect to lead regulatory liquidity reporting for a leading Australian financial services firm. This high-visibility role at the heart of Treasury and Finance, will ensure the bank meets its liquidity reporting obligations and provide senior stakeholders with clear insight into the bank's liquidity position.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Oversee the preparation, review, and submission of regulatory liquidity reports (APS 210, LCR, NSFR, and local regulator returns)
n
- Ensure reporting methodologies remain compliant with evolving regulatory requirements and industry standards
n
- Partner with Treasury to interpret liquidity metrics and provide insight on drivers, trends, and risks
n
- Support process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting accuracy, automation, and controls
n
- Manage relationships with regulators, external auditors, and internal risk/compliance teams
n
- Present liquidity reporting outcomes and emerging risks to senior leadership and governance committees
n
- Lead, develop, and mentor a team of liquidity reporting analysts/managers
n




- Maintain robust documentation and controls frameworks to support audit and regulatory reviews
n

Key Requirements

n

n
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field and relevant professional qualification (CA, CPA, CFA, FRM) an advantage
n
- Significant experience in regulatory reporting withing banking or financial services is required (across liquidity, capital, EFS is beneficial)
n
- Regulatory liquidity reporting is highly advantageous (APS 210, LCR, NSFR, ALMM, or equivalent local regimes)
n
- Strong understanding of liquidity risk frameworks and prudential regulatory requirements
n
- Proven people leadership experience, managing and developing a reporting or analytics team
n
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership and regulators
n
- High attention to detail and strong controls mindset
n
- Strong data management skills and an ability to extract, manipulate, and analyse large data sets is highly regarded
