Provisional Psychologist / Behaviour Support Practitioner – Aged Care

At Humanity Health Group, we're looking for a Provisional Psychologist, Registered Psychologist or Behaviour Support Practitioner (BSP) to join our team supporting older adults across residential aged care and community settings in Sydney

n

This is a rewarding opportunity to support older adults experiencing dementia, anxiety, grief and loss, adjustment difficulties and behaviours of concern.

About the Role

n

You will:

n

n
- Provide psychological assessment, support and evidence-based interventions.
n
- Develop behavioural strategies and support plans for clients experiencing behaviours of concern.
n
- Work collaboratively with families, carers and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
n
- Support clients across residential aged care and community settings.
n
- Complete clinical documentation, progress notes and reports.
n
- Manage your own caseload with ongoing clinical supervision and support.
n

About You

n

We're looking for someone who:

n

n
- Is AHPRA registered as a Registered or Provisional Psychologist, or has relevant Behaviour Support experience.
n




- Has experience working with older adults, aged care, disability, mental health, community care or a related setting.
n
- Has an understanding of dementia, behaviours of concern, anxiety, grief and loss.
n
- Has strong communication, clinical and report-writing skills.
n
- Can work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
n
- Holds a current Police Check and WWCC, or is willing to obtain them.
n
- Has full working rights in Australia and a driver's licence.
n

BSP experience is highly regarded, but we are also open to Psychologists who are interested in developing their Behaviour Support skills.
