Job Description
Full-Time Club Attendant with Higher Duties
n
We're looking for a driven and enthusiastic Full-Time Club Attendant to join the team at Waverley Greens.
n
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working across all areas of a Club, takes pride in providing outstanding service and is looking to progress their career in the Club industry.
n
We're looking for an experienced Club all-rounder who is ready to take the next step. In addition to your day-to-day Club Attendant duties, you'll have the opportunity to undertake higher duties, develop your leadership skills and step up into a supervisory role when required.
n
About the role
n
As a Club Attendant, you'll work across a variety of operational areas including beverage, reception and member services, gaming, KENO and TAB.
n
No two shifts are exactly the same, so we're looking for someone who is comfortable working across the Club and can provide a consistently high level of service to our members and guests.
n
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Welcoming members and guests and providing friendly, professional customer service
n
- Checking membership and visitor requirements and ensuring Club entry requirements are followed
n
- Processing membership applications and renewals
n
- Responding to member and guest enquiries and providing accurate information about Club facilities, activities and promotions
n
- Providing bar service, including preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
n
- Preparing and serving coffee and other hot beverages
n
- Operating POS systems and undertaking cash handling duties
n
- Assisting with gaming operations and TAB
n
- Promoting Club activities, functions, promotions and membership initiatives
n
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation, food safety and hygiene
n
- Complying with RSA, RCG and all relevant Club policies and procedures
n
- Assisting across other areas of the Club as required
n
n

- Supervising and coordinating employees on shift
n
- Providing day-to-day direction, support and on-the-job training to team members
n
- Leading by example and maintaining high standards of customer service and Club presentation
n
- Coordinating staff deployment and assisting with operational coverage throughout the shift
n
- Monitoring compliance with liquor, gaming and other legislative requirements
n
- Ensuring Club policies and procedures are followed
n
- Responding to member and guest concerns, complaints and incidents
n
- Providing coaching and feedback to employees and escalating performance matters to management where required
n
- Assisting with cash control, reconciliations and other shift procedures
n
- Completing required reports, checklists, incident reports and operational records
n
- Communicating operational issues and providing clear handovers to management
n
- Supporting opening and closing procedures where required
n
- Making sound operational decisions within the responsibilities of the higher-duties role
n
n
About you
n
We're looking for someone who brings a positive attitude, strong customer service skills and a genuine desire to develop within the Club industry.
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
- Previous experience in a Club, hospitality or similar customer-service environment
n
- Current NSW RSA and RCG competency card
n
- Experience across bar,
gaming, reception or member services
n
- Strong customer service and communication skills
n
- Confidence dealing with difficult or challenging situations
n
- Cash handling and POS experience
n
- A strong understanding of the importance of compliance, policies and procedures
n
- The ability to remain calm, organised and make sound decisions in a busy environment
n
- The ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
n
- A professional presentation and positive attitude
n
- Reliability and a willingness to take ownership and responsibility
n
- Availability to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays
n
- Previous experience as a Supervisor, Team Leader or Duty Manager will be highly regarded, however we're equally interested in experienced Club Attendants who are ready to take the next step in their career.
n
- Weekend availability is essential for this role. We understand the importance of work-life balance and will provide roster flexibility where operational requirements allow.
