Mobile Equipment Technician (Cranes, Forklifts, Telehandlers, Material Handling equipment)

$50–$65 per hour + Super + OEM Training

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Crane & Plant Mechanics. This is an excellent opportunity to work across a diverse range of equipment, including mobile cranes, telehandlers, forklift, material handling equipment.

Candidates from a Plant, Heavy Diesel, Earthmoving or Auto Electrical background will also be considered, with full training provided on the equipment and OEM products.

Training provided on all equipment.

The role offers genuine long-term progression, with opportunities to move into Product Support, Technical Support and Management positions.

Key Responsibilities

- Service, maintenance and repairs of telehandlers, mobile cranes, forklifts and other lifting equipment.
- Fault-finding and diagnostics across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems
- Preventative and reactive maintenance
- Carry out inspections and repairs to heavy equipment
- Diagnose and repair electrical and auto electrical systems
- Complete service reports and maintenance documentation
- Work safely and in accordance with site and company requirements




- Attend customer sites and provide technical support when required

What You’ll Need

- Experience as a Plant Mechanic, Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Crane Technician or Auto Electrician
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills
- Experience working on heavy machinery or plant
- Relevant trade qualification highly regarded
- Current Driver Licence
- Strong commitment to safety
- Crane experience is advantageous but not essential – training will be provided
