We are looking for a Mobile Maintenance Supervisor to join our KCGM operation.

Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator, you will be Supervising the Loading Maintenance personnel to ensure the effective maintenance of Ultra-Class Face Shovels, Hydraulic Excavators and Ancillary support equipment.

What you can look forward to:

- Leading the Maintenance Operations teams in a safe and productive work environment by ensuring all work practices/procedures meet statutory, Company OHS and company operational standards within the Maintenance Department.
- Display an understanding and insure to uphold WA Statutory Position requirements.
- Ensure alignment with Site specific Policies and Procedures.
- Supervising Maintenance personnel to ensure the effective maintenance of Ultra-Class Face Shovels, Hydraulic Excavators and Ancillary support equipment so the department KPI's are met and the business targets and goals are achieved.
- Attending pre/post planning and work management to review workorders, compliance to plan in the department.
- Lead the work management process in the department from job creation, parts ordering, planning and completion to comply with Work Management Systems and procedures.
- Ensuring all activities are conducted to achieve lowest cost and maximise machine reliability support to production.
- Achieve execution of compliance to plan KPI’s.
- Carry out receipting of workorders and parts ordered in the department in line with the company purchasing procedures.
- Completing accurate and timely shift reports through Maintenance Downtime event management.




- Accurate record keeping of daily breakdown logs supporting the downtime reconciliation process with Mining Operations.
- Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives displaying effective management of change .
- Communicate objectives of the department with all maintenance team members as directed by Open Pit Maintenance Coordinator or Superintendent.
- Managing noncompliance, ensuring adherence to the companies polices & procedures.

Where you’ll add value:

- A minimum of Ten (10) years mechanical maintenance experience including a minimum of Five (5) years in a Supervisor role in a similar sized operation
- Experience on Komatsu and Liebherr Ultra Class Mining Equipment.
- Strong leadership experience and ability to engage and empower large teams.
- Excellent computer literacy with ability to use integrated management systems, Microsoft office suite, INX, Pronto and AMT.
- Experience in performance management of team members with the ability to coach, mentor and empower others.
- Strong understanding of Maintenance work management processes.
- Experience in incident, injury and investigation process.
- Awareness of the Mines Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations.

Qualifications

- Mechanical Trade or engineering qualification
- Current Unencumbered Western Australian "C" Class Drivers Licence
- Statutory Supervisor Certification (section 26)
- Formal Leadership and Supervisory Training (Desirable)
- Western Australian Construction White Card
- St Johns Senior First Aid Certificate (desirable)
